Values-Based Branding Program

The Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange sought an identity for their hospital system rooted in the core values of:  Dignity, Service, Justice, and Excellence.  The new branding identity needed to carry a values-based message externally as well as reinforce the team-building internal process.  A tapestry was chosen as the motif, the rich colorful fabric weaving symbolic of the interconnectedness of all things.

The scene on the Tapestry reflects the gentle rolling geography of Sonoma County.  The village is filled with people.  The architectural style of the town draws upon the look of Orange, France where the 400-year history of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange began.  Once we designed the tapestry, we had it hand-woven.  A real 9' x 12' tapestry hangs in the lobby as a reminder of the mission and the values.
